coconut powder

My favorite Indian & Pakistani grocer carries the best treats! We discovered coconut powder the last time we were there, and after making a batch of Boo-Nanners (ghosts made out of bananas and coconut), we used the rest of the mix in om of the day. Delish…

Ingredients:

1 C cooked oatmeal
2 T coconut powder
1-3 t agave nectar

Directions: Mix together and enjoy…

chunky apple pie

Sorry folks, I don’t have a recipe for the apple pie.  I just chopped up about 6 apples, mixed them with a handful of pecans, a handful of brown sugar, a spoonful of cinnamon and a handful of raisins.  I mixed it all together and put it in a pre-made frozen pie crust.  I baked it until it was done, about an hour at 350 degrees.

Ingredients:

1 C cooked old-fashioned oats

1 healthy scoop of homemade apple pie

Directions:  Scoop on top and dig in!

Om,
Renata

1 C cooked old-fashioned oats
1 package of Justin’s Hazelnut Butter

peanut butter coconut

This om of the day is inspired by my new favorite junk food…Chick-O-Stick. Have you ever heard of it? It’s like a Butterfinger with a coconut flair. You should definitely try one…but in the meantime you can have a slightly healthier version of this for breakfast.

Ingredients:
1 C cooked old-fashioned oats
1-2 T peanut butter of your choice
1-3 T coconut, shredded
1/4 t coconut extract

Directions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!

Om,
Renata
