white chocolate peanut butter and raw honey


1 C cooked oatmeal
1 T white chocolate peanut butter
1 T raw honey

Directions: Mix all together and enjoy…

pecan, dried cherry, dried pomegranate & (honey)

I say (honey) because many people who choose not to eat animal derived ingredients will not use honey.  So, for those people I encourage the use of brown rice syrup and/or agave as substitutes.  I love this combination of flavors, it’s a very wholesome taste.

1 C cooked oatmeal
2 T dried Trader Joe’s pomegranate seeds
1 T pecans, chopped
1-2 T dried cherries
1-3 t honey, agave or brown rice syrup

Directions: Mix all ingredients together and enjoy!

mOMent: According to some people, humans can only hold on to 5-9 pieces of information at a time.  If that’s true, what will you choose to pay attention to today?  Will you harbor resentment, fear and anger or will you free up that space and allow for peace, joy and tranquility?

honey tangerine

Honey tangerines are sweet and juicy when ripe, mix a little honey or agave with them and you get a wonderful flavor combination.  This was another great find at Andy’s market in Sebastopol which I was happy to discover.


1 C cooked oatmeal
1 T water
1 T honey or agave
1 honey tangerine
1 t grapeseed oil


Peel tangerine and break into segments.  Add water and agave/honey to a saucepan with tangerine pieces and simmer for 5 or so minutes until the tangerine is infused with the sweetness and there is a nice amount of liquid in the pan to mix with the oatmeal.  Add grapeseed oil to oatmeal and the juice from the pan.  Garnish with the tangerine slices, enjoy!

honey pine

Pine nuts are delicious little morsels of flavor bursting with potential for great combinations.  I really enjoy this one.


1 C cooked oatmeal
2 T pine nuts
1 t grape seed oil
1 T honey or agave
dash of salt


Mix honey or agave with grape seed oil and oatmeal.  Add 1T of pine nuts and stir, garnish with the remaining pine nuts.  Pretty pinerific!
