garlic buttery spread

I know, I know…garlic and oatmeal aren’t the normal combination.  But, I was craving something savory and in hindsight I think I would add something else to give it a little more texture.  However, it was still very, very good.

Ingredients:

1 C cooked oatmeal
2 T garlic buttery spread (see below)

Directions:  The garlic butter is sooo easy to make.  I use 1 stick of earth balance and melt it with 4 cloves of garlic over a low-medium heat, in a small sauce pan.  Mix it together well and then put into a heat-proof container to store.

For your om of the day add a tablespoon or more of the spread into your oatmeal.  Mix well and enjoy!
